This tool will check for potential harmful interactions between drugs. You can also check to see whether you might be allergic to a drug based on any known allergies you have.
If you are taking two or more drugs
To see if there could be harmful effects by taking these drugs together, first select the Drug radial button and type in one drug name. If you do not know how to spell the drug, use the Advanced Search option for assistance. Second, select the drug and click “Add”. Third, select Check Interactions to view results.
Repeat steps one and two if you would like to add more drugs. To remove a drug, select the drug and click “Remove”.
If you want to know whether you may be allergic to a drug
First enter the drug and add it to the list. Then enter anything you know you are allergic to (for example: penicillin or peanuts) and select the Allergy radial button. The results will show whether you might be allergic to the drug.
